Yes. My drone is less than 249 grams and is considered a micro drone. While Transport Canada (TC) does not currently require a license to operate these, Fogal Photography has a Basic Operations license issued by TC. I can fly up to 400ft high in uncontrolled airspace.
I have a DJI Mini 4 Pro, released in 2023. It captures images at 48 megapixels (8000x6000 pixels), video at up to 4K/100fps and provides ultra-smooth cinematic-quality video. This drone has omnidirectional sensing meaning it will automatically stop itself from colliding with objects and the ground.
